Colour mixing in the Woodpeckers

November 15, 2024

This half term marks the beginning of the Woodpeckers exploring the work of two new artists- Jackson Pollock, an American abstract artist and Colin McNaughton, an English author and illustrator.

This week we researched the life's of both artists and looked into primary and secondary colours. With cellophane we mixed blue, red and yellow together to see what secondary colours we could make! It was lots of fun!
