The Sparrows have been recapping number bonds this week using a broad range of manipulatives to explore concrete methods. We also shared pictorial methods during class inputs, modelling how we can draw visual representations of numbers. We then applied our knowledge of concrete and pictorial methods to abstract work when recording number sentences for bonds to 5 and 10.
