EYFS have come shooting back into learning with their new topic 'Blast Off!'. This half term we will be learning about Space and this week in particular we are focusing on Earth and using the text 'A Little Blue Dot' to talk about why we are all special in our own way.
This afternoon, as part of our Scientific learning, the children were able to mix flour and cocoa powder to create the moon and use different resources (marbles, balled up foil, rocks) to create craters in the moon. A lot of fun was had and our uniform was starting to look more white than green by the end of the day but the discussion and vocabulary amazed us all! What a start to the new term! Well done EYFS
